Move your troops and artillery with ruthless efficiency with the Kfz 70.

The Krupp Protze Kfz 70 was a 6-wheeled German truck and artillery tractor used heavily in WWII. It was used extensively on the Eastern Front, North African campaign, as well as in France and Sicily. The Protze was the mainstay of the infantry and towed Panzerjäger units in the first half of the war. Many different models of the Krupp Protze were produced during the war, serving as telephone trucks, radio mast carriers, and gun tractors.  Its main purpose was to tow artillery, especially the PaK 36, and transport motorized infantry. This Kfz 70 is modeled after the standard configuration, functioning as a personnel carrier.

Hold the line with this  kit inspired by the legendary “Kraut Mower”

The M16 MGMC (Multiple Gun Motor Carriage) was a half-track with a mounted M45 Anti-aircraft gun used by the US, Russian, and British Commonwealth forces in WWII. Equipped with four 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) M2 Browning machine guns, it was aptly nicknamed the “Kraut-Mower” and “Meat Chopper”. It was an extremely effective anti-aircraft gun, and was very popular with soldiers. The M16 was similar in design to it’s predecessor, the M3 half-track, but featured 12mm front armor and the addition of the quad mount gun. In addition to being a deadly anti-aircraft gun, it was also used extensively as an infantry support vehicle. The M16 was used from 1944 through WWII and Korean War until it was declared obsolete in 1958. The M45 gun continued to see use through the Vietnam War.

New Release: M1 57mm Anti-Tank Gun

2108-M1-57MM-AT-Gun-Cover1200

The M1 57mm Anti-Tank Gun was adapted by the US Army during World War II, after it became clear that the 37mm Anti-Tank was no longer effective against the increasingly well-armored German tanks. The M1 was issued to US Army anti-tank regiments and airborne units in Europe as well as the Pacific. While it still could not penetrate the frontal armor of Germany’s Tiger and Panther tanks, it’s small size made it easy to conceal and an effective ambush and flanking weapon.

Its design was based on the British Ordnance QF 6 pounder 7 cwt anti-tank gun(or “6 pounder” for short), but was given a longer barrel, which allowed for optimal armor penetration.  The 57mm replaced the M3 37mm AT gun in the European theater, starting in Tunisia.  Due to a lack of production planning, only antitank rounds were produced until near the end of the war, limiting the gun’s usefulness without armor penetration rounds. Though better than it’s predecessor, the 57mm gun was still too light to be uniformly effective against German armor.  It had a muzzle velocity of 2700 feet/sec, the ability to penetrate 2 inches of armor plate at 100 yards, and a higher rate of fire, but it was still a stopgap until more effective Panzer killers were produced.

The M1 57mm kit features:

  • Towable by any vehicle with a hook type hitch
  • Split tails that can be spread for emplacement of the gun
  • Armored shield for the gun crew that folds up for transport
  • 1/35 scale matches other Brickmania models
  • The over-all color scheme of this model is dark gray
  • Advanced skill level (6-8 years of experience recommended)
  • Includes 69 LEGO® and BrickArms® elements.

Stalingrad 42 Pack

The Stalingrad ’42 Motherland Defense Pack comes fully loaded with a GAZ AAA Truck, ZiS-3 76mm Field Gun, Two Custom Russian Minifigs and BrickArms!

Or maybe a tank is more your style?  Have we got the kits for you!

2072_T34_coverLThe T-34/76 was Russia’s secret weapon, completely stunning the German High Command. Not only was the T-34 able to withstand almost anything the Germans could throw at it, but its 76mm gun could easily knock out both Panzer IIIs and IVs, then the heaviest tanks in the German arsenal.

Or perhaps something a little… bigger?IS-2
A direct descendant of the KV-1 heavy tank program, the IS-2 was the Russian answer to the German beasts.  It’s frontal armor was thick enough to withstand hits from Tigers and Panthers.  It’s own gun would obliterate the enemy, commonly operating at combat ranges of 1000 yards.  When armed with powerful high-explosive shells it would easily knock out infantry and fortifications.

2103-Flak_36-Action-Flickr_1000

We are pleased to offer you the mighty “eighty-eight”, the Flak 36 anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun.  Our newest kit comes in an awesome Flakkorps upgrade edition!  Read on to learn more.

The 8.8 cm Flak 36 – often called the “88” or “acht-acht” was a german 88mm anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun used throughout WWII.  One of the most recognized German weapons of the war, this model led to the development of a wide variety of artillery.  “Flak” is a contraction of German Flugzeugabwehrkanone which means “aircraft-defense cannon”.  In English “Flak” became a generic term for ground anti-aircraft fire.   This is where the term “Taking Flak” is thought to have originated.  A single round from the 88 was capable of blowing the tail off of a bomber, which is exactly what happened to the B-17 “Hang the Expense” on a mission over Frankfurt.

0910121713460000002_08_2

While it was originally designed and mostly known as an anti-aircraft weapon, its versatile carriage allowed the 88 to be fired as an anti-tank gun as well.  Its success as and AT gun led to the development of a tank gun using the 88 as it’s base.  The 8.8 cm KwK 36 (KwK standing for Kampfwagen-Kanone or “Battle Vehicle Cannon”), was the main armament of the Tiger I heavy tank.

Rheinmetal later developed  a more powerful AA gun, the 8.8 cm Flak 41 and the tank destroyer 8.8cm PaK 43.  The PaK 43 was used for the Elefant and Jagdpanther, as well as the base for the turret-mounted 8.8 cm KwK 43 heavy tank gun on the Tiger II.

We have two versions of this epic artillery piece available:
